Mobile Arts Council is pleased to present Michelle Pujols in our Members’ Mini MAC Gallery this quarter.

Michelle Aline Pujols is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana settled in Mobile, Alabama. An award winning photographer, graduating from Sam Houston State University with a major in Photography. Michelle began traveling across the country photographing equestrian shows and doing advertising photography for equestrian ranches. During her travels she often stopped to photograph natural settings that inspired her.

Michelle sees her photography of nature as part of a universal whole. Her goal is to bring that understanding to all who view her work. The beauty of the land belongs to all. Her work gives the viewer an opportunity to see places and things that maybe unknown to them or to see them in a different light. As a fine art photographer Michelle Aline Pujols brings the beauty of the environment to all. Her fine art photography features environmental landscapes but she also enjoys stirring the creative juices by going into the fantasy world of ghostly images and otherworldly colors.

Along with her fine art work Pujols continues with her work photographing the environment, weddings, events, sports and animals. Michelle has stock and fine art images on hand. Her stock and fine art images are predominantly environmental.

The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) is proud to partner with Vets Recover to offer a special residency opportunity for our members. This six-month rotating exhibition will provide artists the chance to display their work in a public space that supports the healing and recovery of veterans. The Vault at Vets Recover satellite gallery is open for public visits at 1200 SpringHill Avenue.

MAC is delighted to announced that beginning October 1st, The Vault will receive two new artists, along with a fresh set of works from current residence. Fine art photographers, Jennifer and Hailey Clifton share radiant work capturing Mobile landscapes and landmarks. Bob Halcombe is exhibiting stunning oil on velour works depicting familiar military aircraft. Current Mini MAC Artist, Tim Jones will move to exhibit his fine art photography featuring images of public art and architecture in the people's city, Washington D.C. Decorated artist and arts educator, Christy LeGros brings you a display highlighting local spaces where freedom rings true.

The Preview at the Portal in partnership with Innovation Portal at 358 St Louis Street is a rotating exhibition offering an advance look at works scheduled for upcoming shows. Featured is local contemporary artist and author, Ardith Goodwin. All displayed works are available for early purchase through Mobile Arts Council.

Goodwin's exhibition in Gallery @ Room 1927 has been temporarily rescheduled to the March & April of 2027. Enjoy the artistry on preview while touring Innovation Portal's incredible incubator space and join Ardith in her studio at 1100 Dauphin St. Suite A on November 13th for the opening of The Objects of Delights! Check out what The Land of Ardithian has in store for you before it hits the MAC Gallery @ Room 1927 this Spring.
