Mobile Arts Council partners with Army Corps of Engineers to bring art to their new building. ARTISTS: APPLY NOW!

Mobile Arts Council is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District to help beautify their new space with fabulous local art!

Muralists, sculptors, and visual artists of all mediums from the Mobile Bay area are encouraged to apply! A selection committee will review all applications to ensure the best fit for each space in the new building in Downtown Mobile. We will have separate applications for each area of the building. Artists will be commissioned $5,000-$10,000 for their work. See information below regarding the six areas where artwork is needed.

Chosen applicants will receive a background check and must abide by all regulations and standards required by the United States Army Corps of Engineers while on their premises. Applications will remain open through November 30, 2024. Chosen artists will be notified by January 2, 2025. Installation of artwork is targeted for May 2025.
