Congratulations to our May Organization Member of the Month Bellingrath Gardens & Home !

Bellingrath Gardens and Home is a 65-acre historic estate and public garden nestled along Fowl River near Mobile, Alabama. Created by Coca-Cola bottler Walter Bellingrath and his wife, Bessie, the property began as a private retreat and later opened to the public in 1932. Visitors can explore beautifully landscaped gardens filled with azaleas, camellias, roses, and more, as well as tour the 1935 Bellingrath Home, preserved with original furnishings and Southern charm. Today, the estate hosts seasonal events, educational programs, and conservation efforts, offering a timeless experience for all ages.

New for 2025, Bellingrath is proud to host the Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival through June 15. The event is a dazzling celebration of art, culture, and light. Produced by Tianyu Arts & Culture, the nation’s leading Chinese lantern festival company, the event transforms the Gardens into a glowing wonderland with handcrafted lantern displays, many inspired by nature and wildlife. Blending traditional techniques with modern innovation, the festival offers an immersive, family-friendly experience with interactive elements.
