MAC Receives $15,000 Matching Grant from The Daniel Foundation of Alabama

The Mobile Arts Council has been awarded a generous matching grant from The Daniel Foundation of Alabama. Matching grants, in the simplest terms, are   grants that require the applicant to provide funds in addition to the grant award. For the Mobile Arts Council to receive the $15,000 award, the organization must match the funds 1:1.

Throughout the remainder of the year, MAC will campaign to raise money for their award match!

The Daniel Foundation of Alabama’s mission is to strengthen communities within Alabama and improve the quality of life for citizens from  all regions of Alabama . They believe this can be achieved through support of effective organizations that are focused on building a healthy and well-educated population, living in a vibrant community.
