Mobile Museum of Art: Hat-Making, Fascinators!

This multi-week course goes into the art and history of millinery. Students learn how to form and shape fascinator bases from sinamay or buckram, hand-stitch embellishments, and even add small birdcage veils. Each week builds on the last, culminating in one or many finished, fully custom fascinator.
