Kip Franklin, USA Faculty Clarinet Recital at Laidlaw

Kip Franklin will present a faculty recital of music for clarinet and string quartet on Sunday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Accompanied by players from the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Franklin will perform the clarinet quintets of Johannes Brahms and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. These rarely-performed works are a technical and tonal tour de force that showcase the height of clarinet chamber music.
