One of the hurdles for artists—from beginners, practitioners, to professionals—is Color and its impact upon their artwork. This workshop will focus upon both the practical and technical aspects of the theory and its tools: the color wheel and how to mix colors, and the exploration and application of the the terms hue, value, chroma, temperature, and harmony to each artist’s own work. Participants will draw and paint specimens from the Mobile Botanical Gardens as they study the visual effects of nature’s palette. The class is suited to any level of creativity and experience; it will be FUN!
Participants will bring their own supplies to each class. A supply list will be emailed upon registration.
