The Mystic Order of the Jazz Obsessed (MOJO), now in its 25th year of providing ongoing LIVE JAZZ concerts, welcomes all music lovers to join us Monday, August 24, 2026 for a “Jazz Jambalaya” featuring “SWING Band” and their fabulous vocalist, Gabby Merz! And don’t forget to wear your dancin’ shoes for this rousingly, fun-filled experience!
MOJO Jazz Jambalayas are held 4th Mondays monthly at “Carmen’s Club” a.k.a. Cedar Street Social Club (522 Dauphin St., entrance at The Outsider Bar) in downtown Mobile, AL! The fun begins 5:30 p.m. with “Happy Hour with Curly” (a.k.a., Terry Mannion, membership director) at The Outsider Bar, where a lively crowd gathers (and most order their food from The Insider Food Collective next door). The doors to Cedar Street Social Club open at 6 p.m. and the concert is from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. Food and a full bar are available throughout the evening. The event always includes two breaks for brief announcements, door prizes, a 50/50 Raffle, and all “birthday jazzies” present are celebrated with a cupcake and token gift bag!
