Join us for an ongoing health education seminar series, Preventative Health Strategies Using Herbs and Natural Tools to Reduce & Prevent Diseases, presented by Elder Makinde Gbolahan, health advocate, educator, and researcher with the Rapha Natural Institute of Health.

This series is designed for adults and community members interested in learning practical, natural approaches to wellness, healthy living, and disease prevention. Each session will explore lifestyle habits, nutrition, herbal education, and other preventative health practices that may help support overall well-being. Programs include lectures, workshops, and educational discussions in a relaxed, classroom-style setting. Sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Library Meeting Room. Each session lasts approximately one hour.

Planned Topics in the Series include:

April – The 8 Basic Laws of Health
May – Food as Medicine
June – Healing with Herbs: The Science of Herbology
July – Death in the Kitchen / Healthy Cooking Habits
August – How to Protect the Mind
September – Understanding Pharmaceutical Drugs
October – Cosmetics: Trick or Treat / Skin Care
Additional preventative health workshops and discussions may be added throughout the series. This program is open to the public and is intended to provide educational information to support informed health and wellness decisions.

Seating is limited to 60 participants. Video participation may be available with advance registration.
