From the fine art oil painter to the cool cat jazz musician, Mobile Arts Council serves a variety of artists, arts organizations and community agencies by cultivating and promoting the arts on the Gulf Coast. Or as we like to simply say it – we bring people and art together. By becoming a member, you will become a part of a collaborative effort to create a dynamic and vibrant arts and cultural community on the Gulf Coast. And, yes, membership has its perks!

A Member Artist is an individual (professional or amateur) involved in the creation of art. Annual dues are $25.
• An entry in our online artist directory
• Listings and promotion of your events/exhibitions on our website, in
ArtStart, at events such as
ArtWalk, as well as at other community events
• Inclusion in an annual members-only exhibition held at Mobile Arts Council.
• Monthly announcements of opportunities, such as upcoming auditions, call to artist, grants, etc.
• Invites to Arts Council events and programs
• An invitation to our annual member appreciation event
• A discounted rate for tent rentals
• The opportunity to have a table outside Mobile Arts Council during
ArtWalk, held every second Friday
A Member Organization is an organization with the creation, presentation or support of the arts as its primary mission—and any other organization (profit and nonprofit) that shares Mobile Arts Council’s goals. Annual dues are $50.
• A listing of your website on Mobile Arts Council’s website (including a link if applicable)
• Listings and promotion of your events/exhibitions on our website, in
ArtStart, at events such as
ArtWalk, as well as at other community events
• Use of Mobile Arts Council as a meeting, program or event space at a discounted rate
• Invites to Arts Council events and programs
• Announcements of opportunities in the community, such as workshops, grants, conferences, etc.
• An invitation to our annual member appreciation event
• A discounted rate for tent rentals
• The opportunity to have a table outside Mobile Arts Council during
ArtWalk, held every second Friday
