Once a year, Mobile Arts Council makes funds available to support Mobile area nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations engaged in the creation or presentation of arts activities.
 
Operational Support is available to nonprofits whose primary mission is the creation or presentation of art.
 
Project Support is available to any nonprofit doing arts programming. 
 
Evaluation of proposals is based upon three criteria:
 
      Quality of the activity
      Strength of organizational management
      Community impact
 
Applications must be submitted in the format that MAC provides (See application form).
 
Organizations receiving support in previous grant years must submit final grant reports and have them approved before any new funds may be disbursed.
 
Organizations receiving grants must acknowledge the support of MAC in all marketing and promotional materials.
