Artist Statement:
Ainsley creates modern paintings and drawings using traditional methods of the Old Masters. She particularly enjoys the challenge of capturing the beauty, energy, and emotion of the natural world, and the people and animals who inhabit it.
Description of Work:
Ainsley started out working mostly in watercolor but now works primarily in oil, casein, and pastel. Her paintings are basically realistic but frequently contain impressionistic or completely abstract passages.

Further study at the Beartooth School of Art and the American Academy of Equine Art
