Artist Statement:
Long ago, when I was in film school at UCLA, a cinematography instructor defined photography for me as “writing with light.” This definition easily creates a link between my various interests, which include writing fiction, producing and writing films, and capturing single frames. I lived in Los Angeles for about 4 decades and moved to Mobile in 2008. The light in Mobile blows Los Angeles out of the water.

Description of Work:
Somehow most of my photography has captured nature in various parts of the world. I love traveling and immortalizing my memories through photographs. I currently center my life around my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist. For the future, I am interested in innovative ways of using photography as a therapeutic tool. My goal is always to merge my own spirituality with the spirituality of nature and that of my clients and my community.
